Mess Vans

Mess vans, sometimes called messing vans or welfare units are now available from Hire ‘n’ Hire. For the full spec, please look under welfare units, in the Vehicle Hire section, or simply phone on 01942 676406. Briefly, they have hand washing facilities, a hot water boiler, a microwave and overnight interior heating.

Additional extras, such as an on board toilet, tow bars, escape hammers, fire extinguishers, and spot lights for night working can be requested. Even a rear mounted crane could be supplied!

Furthermore, the vehicles can be supplied Motorway compliant, chapter eight, with beacons, chevrons and and highway maintenance stickers, and for bona fide motorway contractors only, ready registered with the Highways Agency.
