Our latest ldv dropside is proving popular and versatile. With the 3500 kg gross weight limit arbitrarily imposed when vehicles were equiped with beam axles, primitive suspension and drum brakes still infuriatingly inhibiting business in the uk , the ldv maxus, with it's class leading load weight, is proving to be a winner.

Light years ahead of the old convoy which it replaced, it is comfortable to drive, economical and practical. The single wheel rear axle design, and the attention given to weight in the manufacture of this vehicle show that it was designed with the British market in mind.

At the moment, as we gradually update our dropside, luton and tipper fleet, the Maxus is looking favourite.

2010 LATEST: Following the sad, asset stripping disaster at our last major van manufacturing company, we are, of course unable to buy any more of these excellent vehicles. What a shame. Maybe, by repealing all the potty laws which have inhibited honest businesses in this country in the last 25 years, this government may at last create a competitive environment for British business. I estimate that every different business in the land could make about 45 suggestions for repeal! I know we could!
